Beautiful!! wonderful shot. The colours are amazing and the fog in the distance gives it a real sense of mystery!

I was just browsing your gallery Chris and noticed this one - I am really surprised at how many similar locations we have visited [link]

I could tell my parents hated me. My bath toys were a toaster and a radio.

You may have noticed that I took that photo on Wed April 23, 2008 and it says on your deviation April 25, 2008. Only two days apart !!!

As for the other Autumn shots when it was dry is shot exactly 12 months apart. I have visited Mt Wilson on a number of occasions and do plan to go up there soon.

We were bound to run into each other one day Chris :-)

I have a heard time deciding which one I like best... I like the feeling that the road goes on and on and on and disappears into the mist, which is emphasized by the landscape format. Interesting point of the portrait orientation is the gray triangle that road and mist wedge into colorful leafs. I think what I'd like best would be a landscape orientation cropped just to the right of the bench :]

Cheers for the comments. I will one day get around to shooting it again and be closer to the bench in the distance. :)

Oh, I didn't necessarily mean closer, just framing more to the left, to get rid of the poles. Although it sure doesn't hurt to try out more vantage points.
